Blue Bottle Collection is the multi-voiced band project from singer-songwriter Daniel Zaitchik.

On the album Summer of the Soda Fountain Girls and the 2-track This Evening, Daniel is joined by Nathan Tysen (guitar/harmonica/voice), Jeremy Bass (guitar/voice), Carey Anderson (voice), Whitney Bashor (voice), Jody Flader (voice), Emily Walton (voice), Lauren Riley Rigby (cello), Kate Mollica (violin), Rob Jost (bass), Chris Sullivan (beatbox/rhythm), and Michael Croiter (guitars/percussion).

Since forming in 2009, Blue Bottle Collection has played classic NYC venues such as Joe's Pub, Ars Nova, Rockwood Music Hall, Canal Room, The Zipper Factory, and The Bitter End.  Daniel is now focussing on solo work in Los Angeles, but Blue Bottle Collection will continue to play shows when he visits NYC.

Daniel is also a theatre writer/composer.  His musical adaptation of Picnic at Hanging Rock has been developed at Lincoln Center Theatre and The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, and he is currently working on a commission from Ars Nova Theatre.

Here are some kind words folks have written about Blue Bottle Collection:

"Secure your hats and hearts, this is sweeping and windy tunage" (Humfink.com.)

"Daniel Zaitchik's melodies, nimble like a young Cat Stevens, open the gate to nonlinear song structures and soaring Sufjan-esque harmonies, suggesting a profusion of ideas somehow fused together. Check out [his] new album, Summer of the Soda Fountain Girls; you’ll want in on these ideas" (Elie Lichtschein, Unveiled Arts.)
